Hello, I'm first time modding anything and I recently bought chip PU-23. I noticed that in the tutorial screenshots the chip says v1.0 and my chip says v1.0b, is the installation still same? I really don't want to mess up anything.

I have it putted in place in the picture, and marked the spots that I think I should solder. Are the spots correct?

The decoupling capacitor has moved, and is no longer there, but nothing is broken

It can be assumed that the board still works, because a decoupling capacitor is used to stabilize the power rails.

In addition, it can be easily put back in place by a competent person with a soldering iron.

But before going any further, I strongly suggest that you practice with your soldering iron on broken PCBs (TV, radio, out-of-order toy) before resuming work on your motherboard.

The Delta PSNee QSB Modchip greatly simplifies the installation of the Modchip, but knowing how to solder is essential.

Un petit QSB va bientôt venir compléter la collection PS1, afin de prendre en charge une carte mère que nous avions presque oubliée tant elle est rare…

Delta PSNee QSB – SCPH-5903, carte mère PU-16 actuellement en cours de développement.



Ce sera la première puce au monde à supporter la PU-16, tout en conservant la fonction VCD !
En effet, les anciennes puces comme la MM3, Mayumi4 ou même la PSNee ne permettent pas de faire fonctionner la SCPH-5903 avec le support VCD activé.

Delta s’engage à développer une version de Delta PSNEE QSB spécifique pour SCPH_5903, simplement parce que cette console le mérite.

Pour les consoles JAP avec double protection, il vous suffit d'installer Delta PSNEE QSB et d'utiliser une action replay (N'importe quel modele conviendra )
